In our quest to understand the divine, people often use various terms: some say He is the Source of energy, others call Him the Universe, and some refer to Him as the Higher Power. But in essence, we are all pointing towards the one true God. This is the God of Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph—the God who delivered the Israelites from Egypt. This is the same God we are all referring to. During Moses' time, the relationship between God and humanity was distant. Only a select few, like Moses, could approach Him directly. Moses served as an intercessor for the people he loved, bridging the gap between man and God. Yet, this relationship remained somewhat distant because Moses, despite his closeness to God, was still fully human.

However, God's immense love for mankind was evident from the beginning. He created us in His image, yet due to humanity's disobedience, we drifted further from Him. To bridge this gap, God Himself decided to come to earth in the form of a man—Jesus Christ. By becoming man, Jesus lived like us, showing us the way and guiding us away from sin, having lived a sinless life Himself.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16, NIV). God's love for you and me was so profound that He wanted to have a personal relationship with us. Jesus lived among us, ate and slept like us, and built relationships with us. This is all God desires from us—a deep, personal relationship.

God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right (Acts 10:34-35, NIV). He loves us all and wants to be close to us.

 Note

God's love for you is unchanging and all-encompassing. He wants to have a personal relationship with you today. If you haven't already, take a moment to open your heart to Him. Read the Bible, pray, and seek to understand His word. Just as He walked with Moses, Abraham, and Jesus, He desires to walk with you too.

Reflect on these verses and the lives of great men of God. Let their faith inspire you to deepen your relationship with the one true God.

Reach out to Him, for He is always there, waiting with open arms.
